Albstadt/New Dehli: The Garment Technology Expo (GTE) will be held from February 28 to March 3, 2014 in New Dehli. Groz-Beckert is located at Hall A, Booth 63. At GTE show Groz-Beckert is largely focussing on service and technical support (SEWING5) and puts up two sewing machines at the booth. Another top subject is the SAN 10 XS needle for ultra fine fabrics.

Groz-Beckert offers its services also on-site. There is for example a sewing expertise center in the Regional Office Gurgaon (Delhi area) which customers can visit and make use of the technical seminars and training on needle selection and application. This is an important part of the approach to the market.

The focus on the show is also on the special application needle SAN 10 XS for ultra fine fabrics as these are also slowly coming in. So far the usual SAN 10 range of needles was well received.

Delivery, cost and quality seem to be the three most important requirements in today’s market to survive and grow. So the industry needs to prepare itself accordingly, look for new technologies and upgrade its machinery which fulfills the new requirements. The spares and consumables for example needles are equally important as they directly influence the three requirements.

Training of manpower is also very important as the employees are the ones who are to make the machines run and produce efficiently. So knowledge about the working of machinery and parts as well as the possibilities is important because only then optimum results can be achieved.
