Albstadt/ Ho Chi Minh City: The Vietnam Saigon Fabric and Garment Accessories Expo (Saigontex) is held in Ho Chi Minh City from 10 to 13 April 2014. The annual show is considered as the most important event in the textile and garment industry in Vietnam. Groz-Beckert presents its products and service highlights in hall 2, booth 2B-6.

In its product portfolio Groz-Beckert continuously works on developing the perfect needle for every requirement. The innovative needle geometry LoopControl® of chain stitch and lockstitch needles helps to form perfect loops. The needles with distinctive roundings are gentle on the material and cause less needle breakage. In addition, the seam appearance is improved. Groz-Beckert also holds available needles for fine materials or for material that is extremely difficult to sew. The special application needles SAN® 10 and SAN® 10 XS guarantee higher quality through best possible protection of the sewn material and contribute to the increased productivity.

In the field of knitting focus is placed on the circular knitting needles litespeed® and Vo-LC™. The litespeed® needle for high-performance circular knitting machines allows enormous energy savings and a considerable reduction of CO2 emissions – due to the optimized needle shank geometry and the reduced weight. Furthermore these needles optimize lubrication behavior and reduce oil consumption.The partially reduced needle shank thickness enables improved needle oil distribution, which, for example, leads to reduced friction in the needle trick and less energy required to move the needle.

The new needle generation Vo-LC™ combines many years of experience and numerous patented details. It is available for body seamless machines and large diameter circular knitting machines in finest gauges. The predicate of the Vo-LC™ needle, “perfection in precision”, has good reasons: To create a loop structure that is absolutely even, tight tolerances are essential in the needle production – tolerances narrower than the diameter of a human hair. The result is the most precise knitting-machine needle available on the market.

Another topic is Groz-Beckert’s special and innovative method of bundling sinkers which makes the sinker handling more easy in practice. This packaging gives customers active support with improving their cost-efficiency. Inserting sinkers that are packaged in this way give customers shorter setting-up times which means they can lower their production costs considerably in comparison with their competitors.

As a further product highlight Groz-Beckert shows the warp-tying machine KnotMaster for weaving customers. This modular system sets new standards in service and maintenance friendliness. All components can be dismantled within just a few minutes and individual parts can be exchanged quickly and easily. Despite the numerous functions – such as four tying methods, single and double knots, short knot ends, or the yarn break detector – handling of the machine is especially simple due to its modern touch-screen control. Thanks to its broad range of application, especially the version AS/3 has established itself as a best-seller. It is a fast warp-tying machine for all fine and medium yarns made from cotton, wool, and synthetic materials – as well as for compound yarns and elastic yarns. It is also ideally suited for denim.
