You have found several job offers that you want to apply for? No problem, then simply apply several times. How do I apply for an open position?
Have you found a suitable job offer or would you like to send us an unsolicited application? Then you can apply directly to us via our online career page. To do so, go to the suitable job offer or the speculative offer and click on "Apply now". You can then create an account and upload and submit your documents. It's easy, we promise.

What documents should the application contain and what format should the attachments be in?
Your application should include a cover letter, a CV and references. If additional documents are required, you will find the information in the respective job advertisement. The documents can be uploaded in all common formats (max. 5 MB)

What do I have to pay attention to when writing a cover letter?
In your cover letter, you have the opportunity to briefly describe your motivation, why you would like to apply to Groz-Beckert and why exactly you are the perfect candidate for the position.

What should I pay attention to in the CV?
Overall, your CV should be complete so that we have the opportunity to get an overall view of you, both personally and professionally.
In any case, the CV should include the following topics: Personal data, professional career, academic/school career, further and advanced training, further knowledge.

Can I also send my application without complete certificates?
Even if you do not yet have complete references, you are welcome to apply to us. The missing certificates can be submitted at any time.

Is a photograph required for the application?
It is not absolutely necessary to send a photo. However, we are of course happy to see any friendly face. Whether or not a picture is sent has no influence on the application.

How can I be sure that my application has arrived?
You will receive an automatic confirmation of receipt as soon as we have received your application via our online career portal. If you do not receive a confirmation, please check again whether the upload of your documents worked. If not, you can simply try again or contact us directly and we will find a solution together.

Can I apply if I don't meet all the requirements?
Even if you do not meet all the requirements, you are of course still welcome to apply for a job posting that interests you.

You can check the status of your application at any time via the applicant portal or by telephone.

You can view your submitted application at any time via the applicant portal and submit any missing documents.

3. Questions about the application process and the interview

How does the application process work?
After you have successfully submitted your application via our online portal, you will receive a corresponding confirmation of receipt. Afterwards, the responsible manager will review your application and evaluate your documents. After that, we look forward to getting to know you in a first and possibly later second interview. If we then agree that you are a good fit for us and we are a good fit for you as an employer, you will receive a phone call from us telling you the good news. This will be followed by an internal contract meeting and a works council review. If this is positive, we look forward to employing you.

Who should I contact if I have questions about the application process?
You can contact us at any time with questions. The best thing to do is to call or write a short e-mail to the responsible officer named in the job advertisement for which you have applied.

How long does the application process take?
Usually, the application process takes about 3 weeks.

How can I prepare for the job interview?
In the first step, you should mainly prepare yourself with technical questions about the job you have applied for. We also welcome you to familiarise yourself with our company and the requirements of the position. You are welcome to bring along any questions about us or the position that have not yet been answered or that interest you. You are welcome to make a note of these and bring them with you to the interview.

What should I wear to the job interview?
Dress appropriately for the position you are applying for and the company, but be sure to feel authentic and comfortable.

Are visitor parking spaces available?
Yes, there are sufficient visitor parking spaces available for you in front of our reception, which you are welcome to use.

How does the interview work and who takes part?
As a rule, two interviews take place. The first interview is a first meeting to get to know each other, the second interview is more about the technical aspects (possibly also within an extended group of participants). As a rule, the interview is attended by the personnel officer responsible for the position in question and the future manager.

Do you reimburse travel expenses for an interview?
If you have incurred travel expenses, we will cover these costs in accordance with the legal framework. Simply submit your original receipts after your interview.

I received a rejection and would like to know why. May I contact you again about this?
If you have received a rejection regarding your application, you are welcome to contact your responsible personnel officer, who also looked after you during your application procedure.

4. Questions about data protection

What happens to my data after the application?
Your data will only be used for the current application process in accordance with the applicable data protection regulation. After 6 months at the latest, the data will be automatically deleted via the system.

Who has access to my data?
Your data and documents can only be viewed by the responsible personnel officers and the respective manager.

Can I have my data deleted if I am no longer interested in working with you?
If you are no longer interested in working with us, you can delete your data at any time via the career portal.
