Large diameter circular knitting technology

Goals

• You will receive an overview of the most common machine types in the field of large diameter circular knitting.
• You will gain insights into the technical structure and function of circular knitting machines.
• You will learn the difference between single jersey and double jersey, as well as the rib and interlock setting.
• You will put what you learn into practice directly on the machine.
• You will acquire knowledge about technical properties, definitions and terms.

Target Group

Based on our experience, this course is suitable for beginners or for specialists from other textile areas who are looking to refresh their existing knowledge.

Prerequisites

No previous knowledge is required for this basics course. We do, however, recommend combining it with the courses "Theory of fabric structures knitwear“, Technical training: Single jersey” or “Technical training: Double jersey”.

Methodology

The training consists of an interactive presentation. You will have the opportunity to put what you learn into practice directy in the practical section on the large diameter circular knitting machine.
